Meet the High Council-

The High Council serves as the guiding force of the Tribe, shaping our long-term vision while keeping our traditions sharp and authentic. It approves major events and demonstrations, oversees training and safety, and ensures our portrayals stay true to Viking history. The Council also supports new members, resolves disputes, and keeps the group united as we bring our shared saga to life.

Hoogin is a white collar/brown raven rescued by the washing wench “Daphne longstockings” in 2019. MVA is “Viking daycare” during the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly MI, because Ravens are constant interaction and constant care (Hoogin is constant trouble) he comes to be with his Viking family during the weekends. His personality says he’s secretly best friends with Loki instead of Odin. This spoiled feather baby participates in “The birds of prey” show where he gets to show off for the public.

Oathsworn members stand at the core of the Tribe, bound by commitment, skill, and honor. They train regularly, uphold the group’s standards, and help guide newcomers into the fold. Their role focuses on mastering combat, craftsmanship, and historical portrayal while setting the tone for discipline and unity within the ranks. Through their actions, the Oathsworn keep the spirit of the Viking age alive and strong.
